CHRYSO®Dem Range facilitates the demoulding of wetcast or drycast concrete from all types of moulds, while improving surface finish quality.

CHRYSO®DEM range

With more than 50 years of know-how, Chryso has developed a complete range of user-friendly release agents for all types of precast concrete moulds.
Chryso offers a complete range of products, and supports its customers towards the use of user-friendly release agents or with an improved HSE profile, while maintaining a high level of performance.

  • The nature of the formwork
  • The quality of surface pavement
  • HSE Criteria requirements
  • The need to protect formworks from corrosion
  • The conditions of application (wind, outside temperatures …)
  • The concrete pouring process (formwork height, vibration, concrete introduction method, etc.)

  • The right fatty components, allowing the product to stick to the mold, and influence the resistance to steaming.
  • Solvents, providing wettability, specific to each use (wet cast or dry cast demoulding).
  • Specific additives to improve non-adhesion, and additional functions such as anti-corrosion.

Dry cast concrete

Chryso solutions for dry cast concrete make it possible to maintain a fast production rate while preserving the surface finishing of the concrete elements.
Historical solutions contain mineral solvents. Chryso is innovating by expanding a range of vegetal release agents or vegetal base in this application segment.

Wet cast concrete

Chryso is offering demoulding agents with an optimized HSE profile and high quality surface finishing, while considering the spraying conditions.

Vegetable mould release agents

Using components from the industry (rapeseed, sunflower, etc.), vegetal mould release agents have the advantage of offering a good HSE profile, high coating quality and ease of spraying. Chryso offers a complete range of mould release agents suitable for each use.

Synthetic mould release agents

Using components from a selection of refined mineral components, the synthetic-based release agents have as characteristics a wide range of applications, resistance to steaming and high coating quality. Chryso mould release agents are particularly differentiated by their robustness to all application conditions.

mineral mould release agents

Composed mainly from new or recycled mineral elements, mineral release agents allow cost optimization and can be applied on many substrates.

CHRYSO®Dem XTRA Performance, health & safety profile.

CHRYSO®Dem XTRA range are ready-to-use delayed mould-release agents which does not contain any solvent.

CHRYSO®Dem XTRA forms a non-adhering film on the surface of the formwork that withstands very high temperatures. Concrete can be easily separated after setting without affecting the facing.

It produces attractive surface finishes without any bubbling or staining. It has no detrimental action with respect to most rubbers, plastics and polystyrenes. While improving the appearance of concrete facing, CHRYSO®Dem XTRA allows the subsequent application of coating and paint.
