CHRYSO enlarges its product range reducing the Chromium VI in cement

CHRYSO participated in the virtual 2022 WCT conference on “Innovation in cement production”. The company’s virtual presentation “Innovative Chromium VI reducer solution” was largely webcasted.

The speaker, Mrs. Estelle RAYNAUD, Cement BU Technical Director at CHRYSO, held a presentation on Innovative Chromium VI reducer solution: performance and high EHS profile.
CHRYSO has developed a product range reducing the Chromium VI content in cement on a long-term basis, to meet the European Directive 2003/53/CE, which prohibits the sale of cement containing more than 2ppm of hexavalent chromium (or Chromium VI) since 2005.
Our brand REDUCTIS is composed of two complementary liquid products easy to use. Its cover cement producers needs in terms of production efficiency and finish product performances.

  • CHRYSO®Reductis 50: Premium Chromium VI reducing agent and patented solution that has proven high-performance since 2005 : 12 months shelf life & efficiency at low dosage.
  • New – CHRYSO®Reductis 6Ø: high-performing and innovative solution for Chromium VI reduction, enabling a long-lasting decrease (> 6 months as of today).
