MEETING ON ADMIXTURES SOLUTIONS TO ADDRESS EMERGING TECHNICAL CHALLENGES
Back on a major event for the concrete sector held in Gurugram (Delhi NCR) on the 4th of December, where 250 Concrete Industry stalwarts attended a conference focussed on the “Technical solutions to address emerging technical challenges”. Organized in association with ICI (The Indian Concrete Institute*), Gurugram Center, this conference brought together Managing Director of CHRYSO India – Rajiv Upadhyay, R&D Concrete Director of CHRYSO Group – Laurent Bonafous, Gurugram ICI Chairman – Mr. Rajeeb Kumar among other dignitaries. Mr. R.K Pandey, Member Projects, National Highways Authority of India(NHAI), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest for the event.
Mr. Laurent Bonafous introduced the main concerns and key drivers for modern construction: Urbanization, Energy Cost Increase and Sustainable Development & Construction.
In this respect, CHRYSO tackles the major construction challenges of:
• Construction need for rapid completion: concrete long slump retention and early strengths new polymer technologies by CHRYSO®
• High Rise construction: high performance with Vertical Concrete pumpability using CHRYSO®Optima 1000 technology
• Heavy Precast infrastructure casting improvement: the advantages of FILL-FREE® Technology for an easy and fast placeability
• Consistent concrete quality despite changing materials quality and variability: CHRYSO®Quad Technologies opening access to local resources
Offering a quality technical content exemplified with live case studies of India, Laurent B. relied on iconic projects like – World One Project– Mumbai, Udangudi Thermal Power Plant where CHRYSO® expertise and its admixture technologies have played an important role.
The event provided a global perspective of various developing Concrete Technologies on the market and CHRYSO® global approach on materials, mix design and providing constant innovations to counter various modern day construction challenges.
